ResQ, Privately-Owned Contact Centre Business Scoops Prestigious Accolade


ResQ Limited, the Hull and Seaham-based contact centre business has been awarded a ‘One Star’ status by Best Companies for 2019.

This accreditation is a special status awarded to organisations that have been able to demonstrate that the business has a ‘very good’ culture of staff engagement.

ResQ employs nearly 1,000 employees and has its headquarters in Hull with a further centre in Seaham in the North East of England.

ResQ prides itself on delivering high quality specialist communication services to highly recognised, leading brands in the energy, telecoms, digital and media sectors and has worked with many of its clients since day one. It has also become known as a “disruptor”  in the industry as it embraces legislation and compliance, whilst investing in ground-breaking technology.

Of the award, Nic Marshall, CEO for ResQ commented:

“Last year was the first time we invited our employees to take part in the Best Companies survey, where we were awarded the ‘One to Watch’ category demonstrating a 'good’ level of engagement. Achieving the ‘One Star’ for 2019, which denotes ‘very good’ levels of engagement,is just brilliant as it demonstrates that our staff are even more engaged and in tune with the business and its objectives and happy with the support that they get form their managers.

“In this last year we have introduced a Junior Board, which allows our potential leaders to experience the responsibility and role of a Company Executive and a Team Leader training programme called STARS, which builds upon the existing training, coaching and support provided and allowing hat these combined efforts are paying off.

“This year also saw Vodafone UK award us with a contract to deliver an outbound consumer telesales campaign for them in Hull are we are in the process of recruiting 200 staff. To deliver this campaign, we have just completed a quarter of a million pound refurbishment so staff joining us will enjoy a state of the art workplace as well as a wide range of staff benefits.”
