ResQ Scoops Prestigeous Accolade

28/02/2018

ResQ Limited, the Hull and Seaham based contact centre business has just been awarded ‘Ones to Watch’ status by Best Companies for 2018.
This accreditation is a special status awarded to organisations that have been able to demonstrate that the business has a good culture of engagement and is an attractive employer to work for.

ResQ employs just under 900 employees, and has its headquarters in Hull with a further centre in Seaham in the North East of England. Specialising in inbound and outbound sales and service, ResQ was set up in 2006 to provide honest and transparent outsourced solutions to its clients.

ResQ prides itself on delivering high quality specialist communication services to highly recognised, leading brands in the energy, telecoms, digital and media sectors and has worked with many of its clients since day one.

Of the award, Nic Marshall, CEO for ResQ commented;

“This was the first year that we invited our employees to take part in the BCI survey and I was really delighted with both the response levels and the outcome.

“We have seen significant growth over the last couple of years, so we have a real mix of staff who have worked with us for 12 years since we opened our doors as well as some who have joined more recently so I believe this is a great indication and reflection of our culture and values. We firmly believe that work should be a great place to be and invest heavily in our people, their training and development and our workplace. Our success is 100% driven by our people, our passion and our determination to be the best at what we do.

“ResQ’s continuing success has been achieved through the premise that we are here to help. We help our clients achieve their goals and we help our ‘remarkable people’ to grow, succeed and be the best they can be. Many of our senior teams started on the phones and we have witnessed them grow and become first class managers.”

ResQ’s site in Seaham has the capacity to grow to 1200 seats and the company’s aspirations are to have this full by the end of 2019, creating hundreds of new jobs and career opportunities.

ResQ is also the first contact centre in the UK to achieve full compliance with Ofcom’s new regulations and is confident that it already exceeds the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that replaces the current Data Protection Act (DPA) on 25 May 2018.
